Babasını, kardeşlerini öldüren bombanın yarattığı Hiroshima cehennemini Yalınayak Gen adlı çizgi roman serisinde gözler önünde serdi. Bu, onun tüm sevdiklerini çalan Atom Bombası’ndan aldığı intikamdı. Yalınayak Gen şimdi Türkiye’de.

İngiltere'de yapılan bir araştırmada, dünyanın kuzey bölgelerinde yaşayan insanların, uzun ve karanlık kış aylarıyla başa çıkmalarına yardım eden daha büyük gözleri ve beyinleri olduğunu ortaya koydu.
Bilim Teknik
Evrim- Oxford Üniversitesi'nden bilim adamları, dünya çapında 12 farklı milletten 55 kafatasının beyin kapasitesini ve göz yuvalarını inceledi ve insanların, ekvatordan uzaklaştıkça beyinlerinin büyüyecek şekilde evrimleştiğini gözlemledi.

Sonuçları ''Biology Letters'' dergisinde yayımlanan araştırmada, kuzeyde yaşayanların daha zeki olduklarından değil, yüksek irtifalarda düşük ışık seviyesiyle mücadele edebilmeleri için büyük görüş alanlarına ihtiyaç duyduklarından daha büyük beyinlere sahip oldukları belirtildi.
Araştırma ekibinin lideri antropolog Eiluned Pearce, ''Ekvatordan uzaklaştıkça, çok daha az ışık mevcut, beyinlerin de ekstra görsel girdiyle başa çıkabilmek için daha büyük olması gerekiyor'' dedi.
İncelenen kafataslarının, 1800'lü yıllarda, İngiltere, Avustralya, Kanarya Adaları, Çin, Fransa, Hindistan, Kenya, Mikronezya, İskandinavya, Somali, Uganda ve ABD'de yaşayan yerli topluluklara mensup kişilere ait oldukları kaydedildi.
Araştırmada, en büyük beyinlerin İskandinav toplumlarında yaşayanlara, en küçüklerin de Mikronezyalılara ait olduğunun tespit edildiği ifade edildi.
